Julia Pearl Robbins is a theorist presenting non-linguistic based works under five distinct monikers. Concerned with the Human Experience as subject, self-sourced, hypotheses are traversed within a deliberate immersion of acute cultural orientations and cognitive systems. Within a non-narrative approach, cultural blindspots and normalized reality constructions are spotlit to help support pathways of recognition. In communion with what has been systematically undermined, intuitive mathematics and physics based models drive the presentational elements throughout her work.
From subject matter to its medium, what is shared is presented as metaphor and artifact. The informing limits of the senses and the dimensional landscape of this human framework are directly referenced for their inherent distortion — dictated by our innate positioning— they are called into question while simultaneously appreciated within this exquisite design.

Presented through five distinct monikers, each body of work functions as a signifier and symbol from its nomenclature to the mediums themselves. In this way, the materiality of image within the projections, designed through filters and screens, relate to the constructions of the mind’s own projection, filter, and screen, while the choreographed model groups explore what it is to be consciousness bodied moving through time and space. From the location of the sacred arts, an onion layering of expressions, from sound sculptures in communion with the vibrational field, to humanitarian and environmental initiatives featuring portraiture of this material landscape with the exercise of agency and impact. Service is a through-line expression, as functional metaphor, for human/humanity’s connectedness and interconnectedness to one another and the planet.
